Candlelight Stretching is a deep, meditative and often profound practice. In this class, you are going to experience a full-body stretch with the Zen Ring. Zen Ring was developed in Japan as a unique way to combine East and West's philosophy of body and mind fitness by a researcher in the field of human body movements - Naogiro Maki. The curved arch shape of the Zen Ring fits perfectly to the natural body curvature. It helps to relieve muscle stiffness, improve blood flow and eliminate fatigue. DEEP STRETCH YOGA


Deep Stretch Yoga is an active stretching class that targets primary muscle groups surrounding the hips, hamstrings and upper back. Tight muscles can cause imbalance and pull the body out of alignment. This class begins with warm-up movements to build heat and prepare the muscles for stretching. Then holding poses for longer periods of time and focusing on breath gives the body time to fully relax and open.

In this class, we focus on stretching areas that are typically tight from running & hiking such as the hamstrings, IT band and hips. This 60-minute Arm Balance conditioning practice builds your confidence and muscles to be ready for flying into arm balancing poses.
